A Modern Beverly Hills Abode

After two weeks of white interiors and French architecture, even I need a break.  While it’s not my style the Beverly Hills home of Rochell Gores Fredston featured in the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar is perfect for the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of California. The stone walls remind me of Frank Lloyd Wright’s own indoor/outdoor masterpiece, Fallingwater. The owners had help on the house by family friend Joan Behnke who custom designed much of the furniture and fixtures to fit with the entertaining lifestyle of its owners. While I love living in France, I wouldn’t mind some of their California sunshine.
