November
by habituallychic
11 . 05 . 13November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

Gorgeous, you really captured the best of the season so beautifully. That gray toned painting is stunning, and I love the final saying, life is a round… really beautiful post.
Heather, your posts always inspire me. I love the poems you choose and the pictures are breathtakingly beautiful.
You have a wonderful eye for loveliness. Thank you.
What a gorgeous set of images! It makes me long for an Autumn with red and gold leaves, in spite of the dramatic, harsh beauty of the ocean I see out my windows.
