Chic in Toronto: The Four Seasons
by habituallychic
11 . 19 . 12After two weeks of whirlwind travel to book signings, I’m happy to be sleeping in my own bed. I will miss turn down service though and the amazing bathtub at the Four Seasons Toronto. The hotel has only been open since early October and couldn’t have been more conveniently located to chic shopping in Yorkville and my book signing at Indigo Books. The hotel was designed by Yabu Pushelberg while the private residences were designed by Brian Gluckstein. It boasts a Cafe Boulud downstairs that was so packed we couldn’t even get in for a drink. If you’re planning a trip to Toronto, I highly recommend staying at the Four Seasons. The Etro bath products alone are worth the trip.

really nice room, I love Brian Gluckstein, he’s amazing…
that bath is a wow, did you do a bubble bath?
I’m in love with that artwork near the desk.
…and the side bed tables. I just bought dark wood tables. Now I’m kicking myself in the butt.
Gorgeous rooms, and you take such wonderful photos. Any idea what the tile in the bathroom is? Almost looks like vein-cut silver travertine, but that would be very high maintenance for contract baths. We are redoing our master and I would love to know what that gorgeous tile is.

I think that I could move into the bathroom for a day or so. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Are we getting photos of The Christmas Windows this year?

Lovely serene rooms. I also LOVE the artwork above the desk very striking! I also enjoyed reading about you in the new Lonny Mag – you have a beautiful apartment! Sharon
Very calming and Zen -like relaxation in the rooms; with the excitement down in the bar! Fabulous work of art by desk area!
I love The Four Seasons anywhere! Impeccable service!

@artluvr – the stone appears to be silver travertine, vein cut. Having worked w Four Seasons before, they would not bat an eye at an all-stone bathroom, as it conveys an appropriate level of quality and luxury. I love YP’s work — so inspiring!
