Hillcrest Hideaway
by habituallychic
03 . 20 . 12I don’t think it’s a secret that designer Kelly Wearstler‘s Hillcrest home in Los Angeles is on the market. But I did come across more photos today thanks to a little story on Curbed. They show more of the gardens and pool area than I’ve seen previously. I know not all of you will love the interiors but let’s just ignore that and focus on the great bones and amazing architectural details. I’d honestly be happy living in the pool house. More importantly, I wonder where Ms. Wearstler and here family are moving and when we’ll be able to see the interior design?!

Speechless.
OMG! My head is still spinning… crazy good eye candy. Although I have to admit, the coral patterned foyer was not my favorite. Love everything else though. -Al
Fabulous property; lots of fun and whimsey as I would expect from Kelly!

Just love the big pots with trees in the garden!
That is a pretty swell house…love the dressing room.
I’d like to see the home empty so I can really see the good bones and architectural details. The outside landscape is fabulous.
You take the pool house, I’ll be in the closet trying on shoes and swimming in a sea of Birkins!
Love your blog, Heather. I have to say, I really don’t like Kelly’s home at all. Mainly, because it isn’t homey. This might be an interesting gallery. I haven’t totally bumped my head because the walk-in closet IS breath-taking. I agree with everyone else that the outside is amazing. That is spot on!
I’m speechless. Wow Wow Wow – an amazing work of art. Not so homey but she is a genius!
Wonderful site, great post! Looks similar to the BCBG Azrias’ home – any connection?
That is a whole bunch of shoes, hand bags, hats and clothes….maybe they needed more closet space. Great photos! Mary
My office is across the street from hers and I’m always tempted to slip my business car under her wiper blade as I walk by…
I adore her. She can do no wrong. If I could afford it I’d buy this place and leave everything intact.
