Winter White

I could spend hours taking photos and editing them before posting but they will never get as much attention as an inspiration compilation post.  So why bother fighting it.  My friends at Flair Home also asked for more posts “for the boys” so I’m going to try to be better about making everyone happy.  I took my tree down on Christmas night and started putting things away.  January for me is all about a clean head and a clean space.  I am especially taken with winter white mixed with grey, a little black, brass, and of course tan. Enjoy.

I absolutely adore this post! Today many blogs try to do inspiration picture combo posts but not that often they actually succeed, in my opinion. I personally don’t even bother on doing them as I know I would spend ages on trying to find the right order ! Anyways.. said this, I just wanted to tell you that I totally got the vibe you tried to emanate.

What a nice collection of images! That creamy white color paint on the walls by the staircase is perfection. What color do you think it is?

Heather, I was already obsessed with this blog post and then my boss’s (Charles Spada) leopard sofa from his home in Normandy came up and I fell in love enough more. GREAT inspiration and such a mood lifter!

What a beautiful post – such a great, clean-yet-characterful mood – though I have to say I’m a little wigged out by the hooks and chains over that one platform bed! But I hope you’re not implying that we will see fewer of your own photos in 2012, because I love them too.

Amazing! You beat me to it! Just picking fabrics for a project at work this week and the one I picked was called “Winter White” an tanish/greyish/off-white! And I was just thinking about how much I love wintery whites. You read my mind.
