Looking forward to September and the (hopefully) lovely fall weather!
Time for the last hoo-rah weekend with the Labor Day holiday. September means back to school in Michigan. We don’t start until after Labor Day. Soon the yellow school buses will be running. I do love the fall although I’m not ready to give up on summer just yet! Our summer’s up here are usualy fabulous and this year was a good one! Love that poem, so well said!
I was through with Summer six weeks ago, and I love September not for what it brings–crisp leaves, bright blue skies blah blah blah–but for what it promises for the future–November! Bring on the bare trees, soggy leaves & leaden skies.
