Take a Chance
by habituallychic
01 . 12 . 11As I mentioned, I’m going on a cruise soon. Details to come shortly but in the meantime, all I can think about is anything red, white and blue or nautical. I’ve already bought one striped shirt and I think I will be buying some more from Chance soon. Not only does Julia Leach have the best selection of shirts and dresses but she has the chicest website. She spent eleven years as the creative director of Kate Spade so I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything less. I am absolutely in love with these images from her portrait series. I’m going to have to figure out how to get invited to the next one. Looks like it was a blast!

I couldn’t agree more.. nautical rocks. I love Chance – such a great site, and such classic pieces. Am a regular reader of your blog… would love for you to check out mine (as quite a bit of it is dedicated to all things nautical and striped!)

Thanks for your message about the floods…it is so bad here. We are safe though.
I love these images. I spotted a gorgeous pair of blue gingham flats on the Saks website yesterday…they are so stunning. I think they were christian louboutin…

What a great post, yes, you are right, how fun does this shot look!!! LOVE the big floppy navy hat!
I have a brand new look over at Northern Light, open invitation, as well as a post about a fantastic store in Palm Beach. Perhaps you will have time to shop before your cruise? That’s assuming you will be leaving out of South Florida….

I love all these wonderful photographs, but I am seriously curious who makes the necklace in the first photograph. I LOVE IT! Maybe I could DIY that?!! ha ha

You have made my life with this post! Obsessed as I am with all things nautical I had never heard of Chance. Now I’m burning up my AMEX so fast it’s obscene. I’m starting with the wide brim hats. Perfect for my Dunes and Duchess life.
But about you, what are you doing for swimsuits? You’ll need at least 3-4 a day, right? DM @stacystyle when you put up that post!
How does she make the charm literally jump out of those pictures? Perfect, timeless looks.
Great looking stripes…..nice.
Have fun on your cruise, dig out of the snow and catch some rays!

Oh, I’m in love with these clothes! Thanks for sharing. I’ve never heard of Chance. I can see the Kate Spade influence though!
Look at the spring Milly – a lot of navy and very nautical.
