Lovely Lime Wood
by habituallychic
11 . 11 . 10We’re a bit behind with some of the foreign magazines so I just found the September/October issue of Australian Vogue Living on the newsstand yesterday. I am begging them to offer an online subscription to their fabulous magazine because they always feature the the most amazing interiors. I immediately fell in love with the Lime Wood Hotel that was designed by British designer David Collins. His use of color is unsurpassed. The pale greens and lavenders remind me of Laduree macaroons but yet there is nothing sweet or sugary about the rooms. They are elegant yet comfortable which is important for a hotel. I am already thinking of booking a trip so I can enjoy them in person!

i was going to stay here two weeks ago for my husband’s birthday but we thought we’d wait for the spa to open! Looks gorgeous and i really want to try the lodges in the woods!
How beautiful! The colors are amazing!
Book me too -that hotel is GORGEOUS!
That’s a color combination you don’t see everyday but works beautifully. All I can say is: wow!
I love the way he uses the white trim and black accents to contain the colors and keep the feeling defined and streamlined.
