Chic Autumnal Decorating Ideas

One of my readers asked me to post about chic Halloween decorations.  I don’t really decorate for Halloween so I suggest visiting Martha Stewart who has an entire magazine dedicated to the holiday.  I do however enjoy decorating for autumn and I’m sure most of these ideas could be modified for Halloween.  Even though orange is my favorite color, I happen to love the look of white pumpkins.  They are perfect for creating chic autumn or Halloween decorations.  Happy October!

Orange is one of my very favourite colours as well, but I also LOVE the white pumpkins- they manage to be both chic and ghoulish at the same time!
Especially carved into Moroccan lanterns- I trust that one has GOT to be Martha. I SO want to be her when I grow up 🙂

    Oh my,
that third image of the entry way reminds me of cappucino and tiramisu and all manner of things enticing and good. It’s a daily dose delish for sure.

    Cheers, Alcira

I just love the first image…the first chic pumpkin decorating I have seen. I traditionally do not get into decorating for Halloween, we live at the end of a long driveway and not trick a treaters come our way. If i were to be home for halloween, I certainly would have been inspired by any of your fabulous images…

I agree that white pumpkins are such chic alternatives to orange pumpkins. Like the elegant, grown-up version of Halloween for kids!

Hi, it’s my first time here and I loved it! Congratulations!!!
I’ll be in Florida in a month and I’m just looking for some nice pillows to complete my home. Could you give me some tips about where I can find them?
    Tks a lot!
