I want to go to there.

06 . 24 . 10I was lucky enough to find a copy of the new July/August issue of Elle Decor at my local newsstand this weekend and boy is it a good one. As soon as I saw the home of John Dransfield and Geoffrey Ross, all I could think of were the immortal words of Liz Lemon, “I want to go to there!” Actually, I want to go there, kick them out and move in but that’s a different story. The home is absolutely perfect but I don’t know why I expected anything less from the duo behind Dransfield & Ross. These photos are from just one of their fabulous rooms and the story of how they came to own the home is even better! Check the rest of it out online or pick up the new issue. Just remember, I called first dibs on it!

Divine! Love the big round table :)… can tell I’ll need to grab this issue up!
Ah but you flubbed the best part of the line- “I want to go TO there.” 🙂 That Liz Lemon/Tina Fey; love her.

Got to love Elle Decor – they never disappoint! Great photos!
Yep, you sure know how to pick them. Another beautiful home!
I loved the earlier post of the Italian families & their homes. Wow – I want to go to there!
Will you take me too?
I’m in Scotland, so my Elle Decor issue is always a month behind, I am coveting that new issue.
Yes, it is perfect. (I also want the live-in staff to keep the floors perfectly dustless) Have a great week-end. Mary
The 19th c. guaches of Mt Vesuvius are, alone, worth many bottles of Veuve Clicquot. This is amazing design. Mary (again)
