Chic Read: American Fashion Designers at Home
by habituallychic
06 . 02 . 10Before summer has even officially begun, all good fashionistas start focusing on fall and not just for the clothes. I am giddy with excitement over the upcoming release of American Fashion Designers at Home which was a collaboration between the CFDA and Assouline. The chic read will include the homes of 115 fashion designers including many that we’ve seen such as Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Jenna Lyons, Kate and Andy Spade, and Diane von Furstenberg, but it will also include some unseen spaces of some young designers. As you know, I love looking into the homes of fashion designers and have posted many of these homes myself but it will fun to have them all in one chic coffee table tome. Now I just hope I get invited to the book party!

c’est chic!
This book is a MUST HAVE! I love the burled table in DVF’s space! And that rooftoop deck of the Tahari’s is inspired. Off to add it to my Amazon Wish List!
Yay!! One of Shaun’s projects (love those zebra chairs). Can’t wait to get my hands on this book. XX Katie
P.S. Think I’m making it out there in August! How I’ve missed Manhattan!
This is definitely a book I am going to have to purchase – if for nothing else, I could look at Jenna Lyons home everyday – and the Tahari’s rooftop isn’t too bad either!
I want a wall of bookshelves!! I know an odd dream for a girl but, hey, what else do designers dream about? 🙂
Cheers for sharing! It’s going on my must reads, for the summer.
