Valentino at Home: London
by habituallychic
05 . 12 . 10You really didn’t think I would post about Valentino without also posting photos from one of his fabulous homes did you? I’ve been saving images of his Jacques Grange designed London home for a while and was delighted to find even more on Studio Annetta. The home was originally published in the UK edition of House & Garden magazine in January 2006 which makes me wonder how it’s changed over the years. A few other photos were seen in my favorite book Jacques Grange Interiors. While the apartment is the epitome of elegance with it’s 1930’s furniture and Francis Bacon art, it also looks surprisingly comfortable. I hope those pugs appreciate living in the lap of luxury!

What I would do to be one of his pugs (living in this home!). ooh, they have no idea how lucky they are 🙂
What I would do to have just one of his Francis Bacons…
So subtle and sumptuous. This is a wonderful property.xx
Gosh….thats why they call him Valentino =).

The entire estate is masculine and chic at the same time. I love it – absolutely love it.
All of these velvet couches are just calling out to laid upon, scantily clad I think. Such luxury. And that window in the bathroom! Don’t even get me started, the envy is far too much.
Do you have the book the Fashion House? It shows a completely different house as his “5 story Knightsbridge town house” which is more in the style of his other homes. I wonder if he has two places or which one he now owns. Fashion House was published in 1997 so maybe he sold or updated it? It is also divinely stunning of course!
All I can think about is how much pug hair must shed on that beautiful dark sofa… Alfred’s ruined me.

Fashion designers always have the best homes don’t they? I’ve seen other images of his home, one with a brilliant Damien Hirst dot painting. I remember because I was quite surprised to see such a piece in Valentino’s home! This is wonderful too.

i would expect nothing less….
thank you !
