It’s Easy Being Green
by habituallychic
03 . 17 . 10 In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I’m posting all my favorite green images. And what better place to start than with a bar since most everyone will spend the day drinking. Not just any bar mind you but the cameo Bar at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica designed by Kelly Wearstler. Kelly said she doesn’t have a favorite color but it does seem like she has an affinity for green. It always looks fresh and sophisticated in her interiors. It also makes me think that despite what Kermit says, it’s actually pretty easy being green!

Great photos, all of them. The lady leisurely walking, kermit, the fabulous leather green chair, I could go on. Thanks for the touch of green in my day. Have a wonderful St. Patty’s Day. =)
Happy St. Paddy’s Day to
you.
I’m green with envy of your stylish choices. However,
my number one choice –
Kermit the Frog.
Best wishes,

Everytime I see that jewel box of a kitchen by Miles Redd, I smile!
Happy St. Paddy’s Day H.C.!!!
I love the green LC2 chairs by le Corbusier! I’d honestly gotten pretty sick of seeing those everywhere but the green really freshens them up.
Your blog is one of my favorites…it’s the first thing I read in the morning on my blackberry while still in bed, then the NYTimes. Your photo library is fantastic and I must assume MASSIVE.
I too have an affinity for green, I can’t seem to shake it.

This is a great collection!
I must give Wearstler credit in that it can be very difficult finding good coordinating greens & she does use them so well!
What, no Steven Gambrel picture? How shocking….didn’t think you had it in you!!!
Happy Green Day!
oh yes, let’s have fun today! St. Paddy’s Day! 😉
I’m so glad everyone is enjoying the green today! Hopefully it will bring us all the luck of the Irish.
And to Foodie, your comment made me laugh because I did realize that I didn’t include Steven Gambrel!
Great green photos! I’m not usually a fan of bright green, but your photos have proven me wrong. I love the energy it adds to a room.

You make it look so easy being green! I loved all of the images as St. Patrick’s is near and dear to my heart – it’s my oldest son’s birthday (and no, his name is not Patrick!).
Thanks for the green post–especially the kelly greens; just for the Irish!!

I love that you went *green* …Lovely post!!
i remember seeing a blurb about the viceroy in w magazine when it first opened, which is exactly when i began my love affair with kelly wearstler and the gorgeous parrot green she used.
fabulous greens!!
Lovely post in my favorite color. Shows the range of green from strictly elegant to earthy.
Being environmentally friendly is vital to me which is why I upcycle, recycle and work with good products like Earth Safe Finishes and bamboo in all forms. No Voc and sustainable really matter.
love this color.. great post! and love going back to the related topics in your blog.. always find something great!
