California Dreamin’

Although the weather is actually starting to warm up in New York, I still can’t stop thinking about my upcoming trip to LA! I’m very excited to get away and relax! But right now, I’m getting ready for a meeting so I’m leaving you with some pics of the California home of interior designer David Netto and his family. It was featured in Vogue many years back but I found a few more shots. Just as people wear less clothing when it’s warm, it seems like some designers lessen up on the furniture and accessories in homes in warmer climates. I also love that the sliding doors blur the line between indoors and out. Enjoy!

I’m right with you on the California dreaming! These homes which offer endless indoor/outdoor living are unbeatable. And what seemed like uninteresting architecture to me in the 90’s, suddenly feel so current and unbearably cool.

I love his work. In his home it seems as if the furniture does double duty as sculpture. thanks. Mary

have a wonderful time in LA. I’m starting to miss it since I moved to Chicago!
