Christmas at Ralph Lauren
by habituallychic
12 . 06 . 09The holiday windows at the Ralph Lauren mansion this year are glamorous and elegant with a Hollywood movie star feeling. They also have a great bar which I wish I had seen before my post last week! Cheers!

of course I love it — I used to work for RL and everything he & his team do is exquisite, simple & perfect — but at this time of year I would have liked to see more of my favourite cliche… more more more tartan.
Fabulous! Wish I had some ching to shop there!!
I adore holiday windows and OMG these RL windows are so elegant …..Heather thank you for sharing!
Heather,
Thanks SO much for posting these. I work for Polo (as well) and always love working on the holiday windows. There are always SO magical.

I guess few pieces are from the Ralph Lauren’s home collection, it was really great for this year. This fashion brand is one of the few which keeps up (and HOW!) also with their home decor line. (I mean, Fendi’s homeline is ridiculous, it does not rapresent the brand at all!) What do you think?:)
If you care, you can read about Ralph Lauren’s home collection (and more likely see the pictures) in this post:

Habitually Chic brings the city to us! Isn’t that champagne bucket fabulous, thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Jaime
Love the leopard print stool and antler chandeliers! Used to pass by this location all the time en route to a client’s on 79th—those were the days : )

Thanks for sharing these fabulous pics! Have a sweet day!
Heaven for me would be sitting that tartan chair and being offered some champagne from that amazing antler cooler by a man in one of those tuxedos!
Happy Holidays!
I just put my glasses on and there is no tartan chair. Oh well. LOL. Still think that the antler cooler is amazing!
you make me feel like i’m tucked away in your handbag to see all the fab places instead of being stuck in the middle of indiana. thanks!
Oh yes, lovely. Lush, glamorous, refined and yet homey. Thanks for the post HC.
It’s all very dramatic, elegant and a wee bit dark. Really fun for the windows. This is one of my favorite holiday tradtions…walking the city streets and looking in the store windows.
Absolutely beautiful! I love Ralph Lauren stores. It’s a completely different kind of shopping experience. What a fun job it must be creating these beautiful displays.
Thanks for sharing with those of us who can’t be in NYC this holiday season!
Cheers,
Alaina
