A Carolyne Roehm Christmas

I came across an entertaining feature of Carolyne Roehm holiday tabletop designs in an old issue of House Beautiful that made me interested in seeing more. Unfortunately, there aren’t that many images of her work online so I am hoping that her next book will be entirely devoted to Christmas decorating and entertaining. I know I would buy it for sure! Hint hint!

Oh la la…I would buy it for certain too!!! I love the bold red in the last shot—something Vreeland would have loved : )

I dont know what has happened to her…she’s disappeared! I used to copy her Christmas tables every year and then poof! She was my idol! I just finished a post on one of my old christmas tables adapted from one of hers! (http://lindaraxa.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-table-and-menu.html) the website seems very inactive, only wrapping papers and ribbons. Wish she’d come back!
