Don’t judge a book by its cover…

A few of you out there who will be happy to know that Kelly Wearstler has shot a new cover for her upcoming book Hue. Personally, I don’t really care what she wears on the outside because I know the book will be chock full of her inspiring interiors. And isn’t it what’s on the inside that really matters in life?!

In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.

I personally don’t care for her outside look either- but her interiors are always great.
Do you think that she just dresses that way to be over the top? That with her voice! Oh my!

I am looking forward to reading the book, but doesn’t she look rather awkward on the cover?

    Oh, I’m loving this one…. very gorgeous…

If only that were true in every aspect in life…then I think a lot less companies would be run by pompous jerks!

    Can’t wait!

Great cover! I can’t wait for this book!

She does have great legs. The book sounds good, too.

Not the best pose I’ve seen, but will likely grab your attention. The background and her work is heavenly though so I’d buy it.

Kelly is a beautiful, talented designer. What man wouldn’t want her in his house? Her pose does look rather odd, but the book is most defintely stunning.

The cover pose is a little stiff but better than the first one. I just can’t wait to see what’s inside!

Oh and to Laura, there is nothing chic about your rude comments. If you don’t like me or my blog then you don’t have to read it.

I can’t stand her “over the topness” BUT I do love her interiors and I own her book – guess there’s no way around it, I will be forced to buy this new book. 🙂

Love Kelly no matter what…I’m sure the book is going to be fantastic! She does kind of look like a Stepford Wife…but she looks cute!

I love Kelly’s style–she’s brave and seems to have fun with both her interiors and her own, personal, exterior! That said, the cover, the way she is standing is a bit “odd”, it looks how I might stand if I was trying to look really thin!

Her face is starting to look a little scary. She may need to lay off the botox. Her interiors, however, never dissapoint. Thanks for the heads up!

I have the book pre-ordered and I’m waiting with baited breathe for what we all agree is going to be “off the chain.” BUT BUT BUT…this is KW and this is all about style, right? If I didn’t know what to expect that cover would not make me salivate for more. Glad she shot a new one. Looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks once we have our sweaty palms on the book!

as a former KWID intern, I can attest that Kelly is just as fabulous in person as she is on Top Design, etc. she has an impeccable sense of style and always looked amazing in the office, weather she was wearing a vintage dress or tattered skinny jeans, a white v-neck, and heels. she was also very kind and very involved in her work…

that said, I can’t say that I love the chopped-off Birds Of Paradise on the cover, but I can’t wait to get a copy all the same!
