HUE by Kelly Wearstler
by habituallychic
06 . 21 . 09Say what you will about interior designer Kelly Wearstler but the woman has talent and I can bet that her new book, Hue, will be just as popular as her previous ones when it’s published in November. Hue will include photos of her much talked about new home in Beverly Hills, as well as her celebrity and hotel projects and design studio. The book “celebrates the power of color in Kelly’s work and the possibilities of color in interior design and decorating.” Although her design style may be fabulous, some of her hair styles aren’t which is I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she’s tossed the crimping iron for good. But I guess we’ll just have to wait until November to find out!

Finally! I have seriously been waiting for this to come out for over a year now!
Wearstler again? She’s damn lucky to be skinny and beautiful. I honestly think she’d never have this popularity without those cheekbones. But you gotta work whatcha got I guess.
What is God’s name is she wearing?
i don’t have any of her books but i may get this one…i love colour and bet she has some amazing photos and examples to share.
I really like Kelly Wearstler’s work, but what the hell is she wearing in this pic???… Part Snow white’s stepmother, part disco, part Nina Hagen… No one told her she didn’t look her best?…
(not so sure either of the big golden head but anyway…)
I love how she has such fabulosity! Watching Top Design, you just don’t know to expect with her wardrobe and her hair – wacky, hilarious, fabulous!
Isn’t it interesting that she is focusing on color when so many other designers are promoting more neutral rooms. Is she fashion forward and on to the next trend or is she behind? Which ever way, I know it will be a fascinating read.
i’ll admit it…i can’t wait for this book!
I love her. I think she is brilliant. There are a couple teaser photos for the new book in the October issue of vogue. Gone is the trellis motif that has been copied by everyone. She is onto curves, still with a black and white foundation, a bit more Sottsass.
Can’t wait for the book!
