Junior League House Tour
by habituallychic
05 . 01 . 09If you need anything to do this weekend while it’s raining, you can check out the New York Junior League House Tour on Saturday, May 2nd. Where else would you get the chance to snoop inside the homes of New York’s chicest residents including interior designer Sara Story (above), antique dealer Todd Merrill, artist Hunt Slonem, and architect and designer Campion Platt among others. The tour is self guided so you can take your time and enjoy this glimpse into how the other half lives. Just make sure you wipe your feet at the door! Oh, and no peeking into the medicine cabinets!

I wish I were in New York to experience this and Kip’s Bay. That dining room is fantastic!
I saw Sara Story’s place in Elle Décor … I love her taste!
Thanks for posting! This is exactly the style of table we are trying to hunt down. That purple ceiling is glorious!

I am in love with that floor!
There are some stunning vignettes, rooms, and pieces here on your blog!! I’ve bookmarked your blog to come back and look some more! :>
I fret that I shall have to rely upon you Heather to tour the JL House and to tell me all about it. That raspberry ceiling is sure to hide any wine stains. I feel inspired to paint my porch floor like that…fun geo!

I love this floor…Wait until you see Campions apartment! Love his den.
Well, I am sad to say that I never made it to the tour. I had to shop with a client Saturday so I made arrangements to just stop by Sara Story’s home but arrived after the tour ended. Needless to say, I was very bummed! But there is another tour in the fall and Amanda Nisbet said she might participate so I hope everyone will sign up for that one!
