Hamish Bowles Lists New York Apartment for $2.9 Million
I could have sworn that the Greenwich Village apartment of Hamish Bowles had already sold but I must have been mistaken since it’s currently making headlines for being on the market for $2.9 Million. Bowles was appointed as editor-in-chief of The World of Interiors magazine but the job is based in London which is why the duplex co-op apartment at 45 East 9th Street is now for sale.
According to the listing with Chris Poore of Sotheby’s International Realty, the space designed by Studio Peragalli is “is a one of a kind find. This well-appointed duplex has the warmth and feel of a small townhouse. Both the apartment and building have the quintessential Greenwich Village charm that many downtown buyers desire.”
