When I mentioned that I was going to be visiting California this week, everyone assumed I meant Los Angeles. I’m actually in San Francisco right now. I’m here for a few days before I head to Napa to visit Dutch Henry Winery. I’ve never been to Napa and everyone agrees that I’m going to love it.

The funny thing is that I was in San Francisco exactly two years ago this week for my book signing for Creativity at Work at Hudson Grace.  These photos are from that trip. I’m looking forward to visiting Everlane and catching up my friend Grant K. Gibson. I’m staying at the Hotel Drisco again too which is within walking distance to Sacramento Street and all the great design stores.  Just be careful if you walk in San Francisco.  I slipped on a steep hill today and skinned my knee and ripped my jeans.  Maybe I should figure out how to take a cable car tomorrow.
