Vogue Enfants
by habituallychic
08 . 26 . 11Since I’m single in the city, I don’t usually post about kids or anything related to them. These photos from Vogue Enfants, a supplement to French Vogue, are so cute though that I couldn’t resist. I always love the look of European children’s clothing. It’s so classic and well made. They look a lot chicer than most of the people I see on the street in New York. That little dachshund is pretty adorable too! Bon Weekend!

Such cute pictures! Love this post!
I wish I were half as stylish as the little kid with the dog…
LOVE the dog and its expression… The pictures are a little too styled for my taste.
Completely adorable and charming. What a difference between this lovely editorial spread and that horrible quasi kiddie-porn layout that other French fashion mag did recently.
Heather, stay safe in the storm!
This is so darling. I love all those sweet little muffins!
Oh my gosh, these are so beautiful. I haven’t seen such classic fashion photos in a while. LOVE it.
So beautiful! And age appropriate, thank goodness.

I remember having a coat very similar to that red one. That’s how moms used to dress their kids back in the early 60’s. Wish it was still that way.
Such cute pictures!
The girl is lovely!
…The dog too :)!

Such a cute post…do those dresses seem a bit short, or is that just me? I know that is the style for Ladies but didn’t realize for little ladies as well?
Beautiful retro-style images that show children dressed like children rather than like trashy pop stars!
As for the kids on the streets of NYC…We couldn’t believe the level of designer baby outfits for the under-two age group there! We put our daughter in a tres chic Nicole Miller outfit for a walk around the Upper East Side and felt almost under-dressed! I guess we’re more used to seeing ratty spiderman t-shirts and combat shorts up here!
Stay safe in that storm this weekend!
These phots are, as I like to say, ‘divine and refined’! I agree that European styles and clothing for kids are so much more classy and high quality than here. I wish my kids would want to dress like this but they’d rather denim and and Abrocombie! Hope you’re safe and sound in NYC. We survived here with minimal damage in NJ. Have a great day!

I’d wear most of it! Skirts need to be a tiny bit longer for old me tho’!
These photos are adorable and classic! Why did I not receive this supplement with my recent issue of French Vogue? Must one live in France to receive it? I’m perplexed and disappointed but glad to see some here!
Even the children in France are chicer than I am!
I was the au pair for this little girl! She’s really as beautiful as these pictures.
