I know everyone says they are over Tony Duquette now but in case you’re not, you can watch this video from Style.com where author and estate manager Hutton Wilkinson gives jewelry maker Liz Goldwyn the grand tour of the design legend’s Beverly Hills estate. It’s worth checking out just to see the vintage jewelry from the archives that Liz gets to try on!

Over TD? Never. I’ve not seen any footage (only print) until now. Thanks, as always. (BTW, HW is just adorable.)

tony duquette is an icon- he can never be over! maybe those that are over tony duquette need to get over themselves a wee bit. (sorry to get all uppity about it, but i admire his work tremendously, and i have to imagine those that are “over” him might not have such an impressive body of work of their own).

thanks for the video, chic. it’s looks like there has been a little restoration of dawnridge since i was there, as it was quite bare. the girandoles in the entry were there as was the chandelier grand salon shown in the background – but i don’t think there was much in the way of furniture. hutton wilkinson still lives on the grounds (as far as i know), so i imagine he’s made it more livable.

Maison21, I was teasing about being over Tony Duquette! He’s a legend and will always be in style. I wonder if they would ever make Dawnridge a museum or at least a historic site. It’s so fabulous!

Suzy, that’s a funny coincidence! I can’t believe you haven’t received your book yet! If you had told me, I would have sent you one from here!

No problem, I think Amazon is probably just having a hard time keeping up with demand. The expected delivery date has changed 3 times already! It’s due to ship next month, so I think I can wait til then! Thanks anyway.
