Brooke Astor, the philanthropist and society doyenne, passed away yesterday at Holly Hill, her estate in Briarcliff Manor, New York. She was 105 years old. New York will not be the same without her.

Wow, 105 years old. What an amazing women!!
So amazing and inspiring! She was such a tireless philanthropist who really went out and personally saw where her money was going. She will definitely be missed!
